Doctors Orders
Well, the girls are doing well, but we had an interesting visit to a pulmanologist on Thursday. He said that the girls were doing great and we're growing, but cautioned us that we needed to pretty much be "homebound" for the next 4-6 months! RSV is a very serious virus that can be deadly to premie babies and it starts in October and runs through March.
That means no big social outings for us with the girls. No church and no Cowboys games for sure. Bummer.
He also suggested we control our own home by making sure it is kept clean and all visitors are made aware of our need for everyone to be clean when handling them.
We really want each of you to come over. He said that is fine as long as things are controlled here at home. So just be aware that you may be asked to do the following if you come over. (please don't come over if you are sick or around one that is....)
Here we go:
1. You will be asked to wash your hands before handling the girls
2. All visitors will be subject to random screenings
3. Men may be subjected to prostate exams
4. Women may be subject to breast exams
5. Teeth may be checked for lose particles
6. We hope to avoid strip searches, but they may be necessary and are at our discretion.
Other than that, no problems. Questions?

Glad to know your girls are doing so well. RSV is so scary...read all you can on it. We had to do the same with Jayna...just not as long a time period. We look forward to visits!!
Love,
Kat & the Girls
